After 24 years in the military, I can tell you. without reservation, that females reduce the combat readiness when mixed with male counterparts. It's all about sex and human emotions. I've seen controversy because of this time and time again...controversy where it's not only unwanted, but dangerous when national defense is involved. I have no issue with females in the military working on shore duty as nurses, physicians, pilots, etc..but not at sea or overseas in a unit where men and women are placed in a position where they cannot leave their unit. Then there is the fact that creating special provisions for females is unfair to males. If women want to be treated equal and be in the military, then they can shower with men. They can meet all of the physical requirements that men are required to meet, shower and sleep in the same quarters as the men. If they don't like it, then they don't have to work for the military.
Weird men with homosexual tendencies and/or tranny-fetishes are a given in the military. It's a good drill sergeant's job to beat those wacky feelings into complete suppression.
