I don't take the term "middle class" seriously, as it is a broad-spectrum term, open to opinion only.
Although, my interpretation of it simply means that someone who has enough money to make living conditions comfortable, have the funds to do what makes them happy, and do not feel impoverished or in need...no money worries. Varies with each person and their "wants."
