As for my "NO THEY HAVEN'T IMPACTED ME" statement...I've lived over half my life on rural land [that I have owned outright since 1990] that looks like part of a NATIONAL PARK.
There is something kind of cool about living where the air is crystal clear and you can see the snow capped mountains in the background on a 90 degree day.
I can coast down the hill from my house to a little road that leads to nowhere to do "test hits" with my Hot Rods.
I can grow enough barley and hops to homebrew 20 gallons of ale with enough left over for chicken feed.
I can use my property as a RIFLE RANGE
I can use my land for go cart racing, light motocross, it's zoned equestrian
I live right on one of the most powerful aquafers in the USA....
I can't keep up with the amount of free fuel that Mother Nature keeps providing me with to heat my home.....
I CARVED THIS LIFE OUT AS A UNION IRON WORKER / MILLWRIGHT.
