I'm new to this forum, so please be kind.
Cuomo sees his job on CNN as one of playing the devil's advocate to his guests, but he has common sense, so I'd call him a moderate liberal.  I saw Bill Maher on Cuomo's CNN show the other day and he calls himself an 'old school liberal'.  The difference between that and the far left that he criticizes, according to him, is one of political correctness.  He believes that the left is way too politically correct and I agree.  Years ago, I raised my kids on the concept of "Do it if it's right and it if works".  The far left is all about do it if it's right, but they don't seem to have the common sense to see if it will work first.  What use is doing anything if it won't work, but what value is there in doing it if it's not right?  It has to be both.  I think that's where I agree with both Cuomo and Maher.  In other areas, I agree with Sanders and Warren, so I'm not a one issue person.
