I read through this thread and just roll my eyes.
I've stated elsewhere that I have been forced to use deadly force on other human beings; as both part of my former role as a law-enforcement officer and as a private citizen.
I am not proud of having taken human life. I do not brag about it. I simply cite the reality to some who claim real self-defense with firearms never actually happens.
