Every wolf pack has an alpha and every tribe has a chieftain. Even if humans fooled themselves into thinking we wanted an egalitarian society we would be unable to.
The scientists have discovered the gene of cowardice, which is dominant. We can infer (using basic Mendelian genetics) that all brave people are homozygous. All offspring of a brave and homozygous coward are cowardly. Two heterozygous cowards can have a brave child with the probability 1/4.
One has to promptly enslave homozygous cowards to save humanity.
