People often rise to the level of their own incompetence. Not the case with these brilliant ladies. They truly are talented, experienced, and competent.
Rise over level? Sometimes the whole field is fraudulent. One article finds impostor phenomenon widespread among chiropractors. One comment, however, argues that according to Wikipedia chiropractic is based on pseudoscience. That would naturally explain the syndrome.

Other fields where they observe impostor syndrome may be also fraudulent, though Wikipedia does not say it.
