I took my AR from all together to all apart about a month ago.
Every gun ever made is a collection of individual parts, but in a thousand years, nobody will ever design a better and simpler device for shooting a .223/5.56 NATO.
The cost of making one on in large scale production is next to nothing. I couldn’t see where any part, had been touched by a human hand.
And although I don’t own one, I’ve seen Glocks stripped down the same way.
Those are highly efficient, incredibly cheap killing machines.
99% and more of them are used as toys for big boys.
And then about twice a day somebody uses them for their designed purpose of killing not just one, but a lot of people.
The ar rifles in use by those I know are not inexpensive. They cost more than any rifle I ever owned.
The only military style firearms I ever had any interest in owning was the colt 1911 and an M1. I never got around to getting the M1. There again it was always more expensive than other rifles that were better suited to the shooting I did.
