Yes we did, our hunting guns. Back then you only saw military weapons in the movies.

Ronald Reagan was right about banning assault weapons. I didn’t agree then, but he was the last Republican that could have prevented black guns being by far the most popular new guns sold today.

Nonsense. Military type weapons have always been popular with sportsmen...the m1 and m14 for example.
