In the case of TRUMP, the Archivists fully knew the location of the documents as that was NEVER in question. And they ALSO advised to "add a lock" to their storage area. AND there were negotiations ongoing when the DOJ decided to jump the shark and do some kind of raid because "possessing a letter from Kim Jong Un" was somehow a "national security threat" or some stupid crap they invented. AND Trump had FULL LEGAL AUTHORITY to be in possession of documents under the Presidential Records Act.
Now, in the case or bumble-fark Bye-DONE, he had ZERO authority to posses ANY CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS of any kind. There is no "Vice Presidential Records Act", so he COMMITTED A CRIME by removing them in the first place. PERIOD. AND he had them stored in locations NO ONE knew about and were TOTALLY unsecured. "Locked up with my Corvette" is NOT by law considered a SECURE LOCATION that is permissible to store US GOVERNMENT TOP SECRET DOCUMENTS!!.
And then we have the issue of the CHICOMS donating over $54..6 MILLION to the Penn/Biden Center for what in exchange?? AND then to send in LAWYERS to pack up your vacant office?? THAT smells all the way to Peoria.
