Actually it's not. 30 days and they will be fully operational. You have to consider that ALL of the older M1-A1 Abrams are being completely refitted with new armament, newer armor, and also newer aiming hardware and software, that there are HUNDREDS of them ready to roll right now.
There is a rebuild shop in Florida where they do all these retrofits into the M1-A2 unit and I know that RR flat cars full of them are moved monthly to Ft Benning Georgia for training AND relocation to wherever needed.
