Katrina started out as a Tropical depression and inside of 48 hours it was a Cat 3 hurricane heading to hit New Orleans inside of 36 hours. And after Katrina, if Cat 5 a week out it looked like it was heading in a certain direction and they said nothing these people would be all over that.

But it was "Bushes fault" that the roads and bridges to get into NO were either flooded or washed out and the ONLY way in was by helicopter and even then, there was virtually no place for it to land. I know. I went there trying to help and you couldn't find a way in that didn't have all of the above in your path.
