Wow! That came out of left field. This is an entirely different subject. Again a tendency of left and right wingers to switch subjects so quickly. It prevents any meaningful investigation into their positions which are unsupported by even the most basic of facts, evidence and experimentation. A great technique for obfuscating their positions but horrible for any kind pf progress and discord.
I have a great deal of experience on this subject. For every 1 lb. of equipment provided to the Japanese soldiers in the Pacific, how many pounds of equipment would you guess American soldier received?
How about for the German Soldier?
The answer is about 4.5 tons. That's 9000 pounds to 1.
In Europe the Americans supplied about 240 lb.s of equipment for every 1 pound of equipment the Germans produced. And yet German production had doubled by wars end through the use of captured slave labor. But it gets worse. The US was supplying the USSR and Britain at the same time and in fact without the US supplies to the USSR they wouldn't have destroyed the NAZI's nearly so quickly. Perhaps not at all. If you include the supplies sent by the US to the Eastern Front and Britain it was about 1000 to 1.
