I don't want the government involved either. Not any more than is necessary to insure our intellectual property is protected from theft by the Chinese. They will likely be one of the initial customers, but as I see it they are no more than another customer tasked with purchasing products in the interest of the citizens.

There again, intellectual property is the result of someone's labor.  It is merely mental labor and not physical.  It produces a product which likewise has value and the Right to Property should be protected.
