You aren't serious. First minimum wage isn't intended to support a family of 4. Good lord! If you have popped out 4 kids and all the combined skills you have obtained to that point consist of an hours training at McDonald's I wouldn't say the government is your answer. No other country or system provides more opportunity for raising your standard of living provided you make decisions appropriate to the incentives. No other lifts more people from poverty to prosperity. But it would be wise to cut out all the socialist entitlements... and the minimum wage too for that matter. It would be a tremendous help. Our income disparity is lower than any other nation as a result.
