The jab was designed to mitigate the earlier A B strains of the SARS CoV-2 virus that have been extinct for a year and a half. It didn't perform as well against Delta a year ago and performs so abysmally against Omicron that the leaky obsolete clots shots have been shown to have less than 50% efficacy at 3 months (starting out under 50% even on dose 2) with negative efficacy after just 5 months.
