Well, what you're really talking about here is medicine - which, yes, is a branch of science. But "the" science is lying through its teeth about what medicine is doing - at the behest of pig farmer.
Engaging in science is what front line doctors have been doing,
independently and collectively, since the beginning of the pandemic:
"Definition of science
1a : knowledge or a system of knowledge covering general truths or the operation of general laws especially as obtained and tested through scientific method"
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/science
"Definition of scientific method: principles and procedures for the systematic pursuit of knowledge involving the recognition and formulation of a problem, the collection of data through observation and experiment, and the formulation and testing of hypotheses"
https://www.merriam-webster.com/diction ... c%20method
For example this protocol, that was adopted around much of the world, including by entire nation states:
"My out-patient treatment regimen is as follows:
1. Hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day for 5 days
2. Azithromycin 500mg once a day for 5 days
3. Zinc sulfate 220mg once a day for 5 days
The rationale for my treatment plan is as follows.
I combined the data available from China and South Korea with the recent study published from France (sites available on request). We know that hydroxychloroquine helps Zinc enter the cell. We know that Zinc slows viral replication within the cell. Regarding the use of azithromycin, I postulate it prevents secondary bacterial infections. These three drugs are well known and usually well tolerated, hence the risk to the patient is low.
Since last Thursday, my team has treated approximately 350 patients in Kiryas Joel and another 150 patients in other areas of New York with the above regimen.
Of this group and the information provided to me by affiliated medical teams, we have had ZERO deaths, ZERO hospitalizations, and ZERO intubations. In addition, I have not heard of any negative side effects other than approximately 10% of patients with temporary nausea and diarrhea."
Dr. Zelenko recommendations of 3-23-2020 - 500 patients 0 deaths 0 hospitalized
