At this point I think it's fair to say that America and NATO are at war openly with Russia .....
The only thing we are not providing Zelensky is the manpower.....as of yet.
and this latest escalation could now change Russia's focus to taking all of the Ukraine or at the very least flattening all of it and all of it's infrastructure making the country unsustainable and a complete write off.
secondly ....
It gives Russia political currency with many of the other Nuclear superpowers whom haven't cut ties to Russia like China ,India, Pakistan etc.....
That if Russia feels threatened enough it may be forced to use small tactical nukes on various NATO countries in response to these escalations.
and let's be honest here .....
even with all of the **** bravado coming from Biden, Trudeau and NATO ....If Russia decided to use small tactical Nukes on European targets there would not be an immediate nuclear response by America or NATO because of those other Nuclear superpowers I previously mentioned because if there were it would put America and Europe in the cross hairs of Russia's nuclear allies.
and in my opinion The US military at this time is weak and not capable of fighting a world war and neither is NATO they are both playing a dangerous game of "call my bluff " right now which may just backfire via their escalations.
and I don't believe that The U.S. and NATO would embrace mutually assured destruction over the Ukraine ....which is just a proxy of their own making and would sacrifice it in a nanosecond if confronted with this kind of scenario.
