At nearly 70% vaccinated, that's about 200 million people. Any medical treatment, including drugs, radiation, and even vaccines, carries a non-zero risk. So does driving, biking and being a pedestrian. We all have to make the risk calculations for ourselves. I chose vaccination and boosting because the risk of serious disease or hospitalization greatly outweighed the risk of an adverse reaction to the vaccine. Bad reactions are tragic for those affected. So are injuries and death from auto collisions. We should not minimize the emotional trauma involved. In the end, we all make our choices and live with the consequences.
