Nationalization is a much nicer name.
Iran believed they weren't getting paid fairly by BP so they took over.
Chaos ensued. Politically, economically, socially. Plenty of **** to throw at everybody.
Private company allowed to come in, set up shop, make a profit, primitives get pissed.
