Is there a major university in this country that does not have a diverse faculty? I attended seven colleges and universities and taught in four and all the faculties were diverse. And everyone got along.
So why do we still divide people by groups? Why is so much of our perspective shaped by who we identify as? I still think there is a re enforcement of stereotypes in America.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
