Again I believe sexual orientation is a developed and conditioned behavior. There is no more a gay gene than there is a rape/sadism gene, a gender confusion gene. People are certainly born with differing levels of masculinity and femininity but orientation is a developed preference.
I certainly have no idea if its a born trait or a choice. I do know it did used to be considered a mental disorder according to the DSM manual of the American Psychiatric Association. I also know rates of identification are going up. If it is a gene, it seems to be becoming more prevalent.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
