I kind of agree with you on that. The odds of the chemical structure of DNA forming organically from elements in an ancient Earth are almost astronomical. I also think that God is self evident. We delude ourselves in trying to explain away that fundamental truth although philosophers have been trying for thousands of years.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
