November is approaching and the realities of the midterms are starting to take shape. The question now is who will show up to vote. The truth many don't realize is that Republicans are a minority in the broader population hovering around 40%. However, Trump brought these votes to the polls in 2016 and 2020 even though the latter was a loss for his bid (assuming you believe in something different). The question now is whether the Democratic majority of voters will show up and be motivated or will the commonly more motivated Republicans be the ones who vote. The one of the primary issues in all of this is abortion. We saw that in Kansas and that could lead to a tilt. Also, Trump is not on the ballot this time and some of his enthusiastic support has dwindled. Of course, there is also a very common trend of the party out of power (in this case the Republicans) gaining seats in a midterm election. Any thoughts?
