My understanding is that the ancient Egyptians (white Egyptians) and the ancient Hebrews had different genetic markers. There has been a lot of mixing of European and sub-saharan African genetics through out northern Africa more recently in relatively modern times.
Still, an interesting theory.
All I know is from what I read in the Bible. The Jewish people were slaves in Egypt but I don't know when that happened. That was probably before recorded history. Obviously, there has to be some ancient history around that but the bible also says that Canaan was given to the Jews by Yahwah (a God that Jews are not allowed to speak by name). Therefore, the biblical account of this history is probably the most widely read given the readership of the Bible which is the best selling book worldwide with the Koran after that.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
