but kennedy mentioned that the USA is not like other countries, and this sort of dilemma will not be relevant to their decision making...
this was just a passing mention that could easily be overlooked...and perhaps one could assume it is some platitude about the tremendous willpower and dedication to justice of the american people or **** like that.
but i think it was a very important thing to say and points to something krushchev himself must have suspected: the USA is not ruled by its visible politicians, but rather by a secret cabal who care nothing about the fate of US citizens or even the fate of the country itself.
Well if you want to compare America to Fascism, I think I would make my choice.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
