Answer that - it is NOT rhetorical, so do not duck the question with irrelevant rhetoric.
The will of the Ukrainian people, as expressed through the democratic process, was thwarted by the coup. They don't need YOU to speak for them - they have Obama and Biden for that.
So you basically think a democratically elected government is a coup d'état, but Russia is fighting a proxy war with his own soldiers. Makes sense to me. Also, China is already expanding its influence in places like Mexico. Mexico doesn't need Chinese missiles because the United States has a slim to no chance of invading Mexico. Ukraine fears Russia and they found that out too late.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
