Elon Musk, along with other tech luminaries have called for a 6 month pause in Chat bot technology given its ratifications. Some say the chatbot will become the calculator of writing. It might even make writing obsolete. The tech industry is known to move fast and break things ever since the development of web 2.0. That's the internet post-dial up age where we were using limited services like Yahoo and AOL. Now we are facing a world where things are changing rapidly in the classroom and journalism. No one in tech really knows the ratifications right now and I assume that the face of any English or humanities assignment in the classroom will be altered by the new technology.
