General Patton viewed Adolf Hitler with contempt and believed that he was a coward who used propaganda and lies to deceive the German people. Patton saw Hitler as the embodiment of evil and was determined to defeat him and his regime during World War II. In fact, Patton was one of the leaders of the Allies who played a key role in defeating Nazi Germany and toppling Hitler from power. He also had a reputation for being blunt and outspoken, and he famously remarked that he wished he could meet Hitler in battle and shoot him with his own gun.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
