Strikes have become more commonplace. Is this a sign of better working conditions? The five day 40 hour work week was a success but we could probably do better. Everything is automated and a lot of people have worthless jobs (government included). If we did have more free time what would people do with it though? Do drugs and play video games? Less work is a laudable goal which is why I generally support the strikes but it is a tenable issue.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
