Well, I guess my reason is the delusion that reunification is possible. Or at least the possibility of a war being avoided by a mutual understanding. If you want Kim Jung Un to use artillery on Seoul then perhaps you have your priorities wrong in my opinion.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
