One thing I'd like to add for entertainment sake...how many times a day do you think the codes change ?
I was stationed in MDW (Military District of Washington) and use to superficially talk to Vietnam veteran officers every day. I wish I have been able to gone deeper but could have been called in to see the boss; if I tried and the officer didn't like it.
I saw Caspar Weinberger at the Pentagon...if I said anything BUT HELLO SIR to him...I could have ended up peeling taters.
I saw Lyn Nofziger at the Pentagon to...I think if I spoke to him I would have got in trouble for wasting my breath.
