Lathe or Milling Machine. I was leaning toward the Milling Machine, but I think I cold make more useful stuff with the lathe. I bought a HF 9x13 lathe about 20 years ago for about $1000 and over the years I've been able to make about $20 worth of stuff with it.
I'm just joking...I don't use that machine often but over the years it has proven to be irreplaceable as a problem solver when it comes to supporting my hobbies and for keeping my other machines and old equipment running.
