I often see someone comparing himself to a neighbor or co-worker and describing that person as "rich."  His criteria seems to be a person who simply makes more than he does.  For instance, I once heard a guy say, "Thomas has two cars.  He's rich."  They don't even look at other factors, including Thomas just getting a second car for his wife.  Or, maybe Thomas is deeply in debt.

I sometimes hear about farmers being land rich, but cash poor.

So what is your criteria?  Do you go by some of those income categories set out by groups?  Is it more attitude?
