The issue is not that we are forced to fund issues with which we disagree. The issue is that your agreement is what forces me to fund those issues.
Try to get a rational grip on this. If you are cheering on or defending the rape and murder of women and children, it actually IS a character issue - even if your own character is such that you cannot grasp this.
