Hundreds of people successfully entered the capitol and there was ALMOST ZERO resistance once they got in. Why didn't they just carry out their plan to overturn the election.?

They were SO close to overturning the election such a shame they didn't just finish the job while right there in the Capitol with their Ty-raps and cans of pepper spray
