Come on, splurge - get yourself one of these, which at $10K are actually a good value: I bought a Rolex Explorer 1016 in the Pacific Exchange, Nha Trang in 1969. I have worn it every day since then. It has been cleaned 3 times and gaskets were replaced 20 years ago. The lugs on the band have been replaced about 10 years ago. Indestructible.
