Putin is going to be forced to use nuclear weapons. As former head of the KGB, he is not going to allow for Russia to lose face on such a large scale. Russia is no longer viewed as a serious military power. He will hit the reset button. You can be appalled, but you shouldn't be surprised when it happens.
