Donald Trump's "Doomsday Plane" has touched down near the nation's capital.

The aircraft was only activated once prior, on September 11, 2001, during the terrorist attacks. Former President George Bush flew around for the afternoon until his administration was assured no attacks were imminent on the President or the White House.
Its main function is to ensure the protection of America's highest officials in dire circumstances.
