In 2015, the United States had approximately 2,106 mosques, according to the American Mosque Survey That marked a 74% increase from the year 2000, when there were 1,209 mosques nationwide. Growth Snapshot:

• 2000: 1,209
• 2010: 2,106
• 2020: 2,769
• 2025: ~3,753

The growth reflects not just population shifts but also evolving community needs—many mosques now serve as cultural centers, schools, and hubs for interfaith dialogue.
