Perhaps this guy just enjoys performing and showing off his talent.
When I lived in Mexico City, there was this guy who got on the Popocatépetl-Azcapotzalco bus every day and very capably sang Pedro Infante and Jorge Negrete ranchero songs. Sometimes when he got on a lot of people applauded.
