Fact is, I am doing SPLITS of my hives in a few days and they will take off and thrive with BRAND NEW COLONIES with BRAND NEW QUEENS to boot!! And this is an EXCELLENT time for doing that since you have no "cool days or night" to slow down brood production and growth!!
