There's hardly any commercialism of Thanksgiving because retailers can't make money on it. They just want it over to get to Black Friday. So, for me its become a genuine family time, where there is no pressure to buy stuff. No pressure be in Church for a couple hours just for everyone to rush home to their own houses. We enjoy real family time, and it is truly about thanking the Lord for what we have.
