Might not want to bring in the military quickly for they are not trained in law enforcement which costs some students their lives at Kent State. Of course the January 6th situation should not have been allowed to develop.
However this whole concept of Trump and his gang holding our capitol hostage and placing the capitol police, elected officials, staff people and anyone on the clock that day at very high risk INTENTIONALLY is simply unacceptable. I am appalled that this could be policy.
Trump the Hostile Man and his thugs should be held hostage in Riker's perhaps = yes make room for them if necessary and send them the bill.
This only the president policy is a threat to the nation and we the people......... it must be placed in the trash.
I would not suggest the military ........ though the nat'l guard waited on a bus for 3 hours for "orders" How much did this cost the taxpayer?
Any elected official, local citizen, cabinet member, intern or capitol police should have the “authority" to request assistance during a riot or perhaps the FBI, DC Police and Secret Service should not be required to “wait for orders” if you will.
The nation watched this action taking place on the screen yet the capitol police were left alone at the mercy of hostile insiders including Donald Trump.
Not only that the cost of capitol hill rehab should be directed to the organizers of Jan 6th. As a taxpayer I did not authorize violence or destruction. Don't make me pay the bill!!!!!!!
