Your post made sense until you reached the point you were trying to make. No one can sue an atheist for not believing in God and no one said he could be sued. if there are consequences ...civil or criminal...of speaking what you believe to be the truth, then you nullify the spirit of the first amendment.
I do not care one bit what the actual letter of the law is or how you choose to interpret it. I dont trust any power that is afraid of people simply speaking what they believe.
and that clearly describes our current state.
An atheist being an *** in a church is just being an ***. THe people there went to church in order to worship, not to have a debate...he would be forcing himself upon them.
But if you can sue an atheist for saying he doesnt believe in god...claiming some sort of psychological damages and make him lose his job and his house...that is not free speech. And it is dystopian.
