Ok...let's see if you have the courage and ability to discuss the real world options, not a hypothetical scenario.
I can think of two ways the current Constitution would not be preserved, (1) dramatically amend the current Constitution and implement radical changes or (2) a military coup.
Do you really think 38 states would ratify dramatic and radical changes to the existing Constitution? If not, that leaves a military coup. Why didn't a military coup happen on 1/6/21? If your reason is the military didn't want to support Trump in a coup, which conservative/republican/independent US politician would they support in a military coup.
Those are the options...keep things in the real world.
That comment suggests a cramped mind. Because Jan. 6 didn't get more out of hand than it did is no assurance something worse won't happen and happen in the near future. Germany didn't immediately succumb to the Nazi's, or Russia to the Provisional Government and then the Marxists, or did the Constitution protect the three Southerners executed for possessing copies of The Impending Crisis of the South (look it up) before the Civil War or the hundreds of blacks lynched and shot after the war. Nor is armed revolt the only path to an unraveling of a society rooted in Constitutional government. The world in your head isn't "the real world" you think it is.
