Also.. your history is wrong. Blacks as a whole never became patriots. Neither did the irish or Italian catholics. Neither did jews. Nor any of the recent immigrants.
there are only 3 immigrant groups who ever really felt comfortable being nationalists and loyal to the usa: English, german, and scottish. Although the Scots identified moreso with the south
I mean...just look at the American concept of Santa Claus....since we are approaching Christmas. That is OBVIOUSLY a blend of English, Dutch, Nordic, and German ideas of the character.
It’s possible your brain is group confused through its commitment to fascism. Irish and Italian Catholics by ethnicity aren’t the rigid types you suggest. Jews and blacks are a closer match but there are lots of exceptions with them as well. It’s a more fluid world than you think.
