A little different from conquering the world. Even at its height the British Empire existed with other powers, won sometimes, lost sometimes, minded its own business sometimes. Hitler was a copycat.
He saw Ford and the Model T as a game changer.
He decided to do the same, and enlisted Porsche to create the VW Originally the "Kraft durch Freude". =strength through joy.
Hitler heard about the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and built the Autobahns.
He realized that the US had become strong due to slave labor, so he enslaved Poles, Russians and others to work in German-owned factories.
He wanted Germany to be the next World Empire, and his model was the British Empire.
He actually SAID ALL OF THIS.
