In a bid to succeed Sen. Mitt Romney in Utah, Republican U.S. Rep. John Curtis and Brent Orrin Hatch, son of the late Sen. Orrin Hatch, have both thrown their hats into the ring. Curtis, who initially opted not to run, reconsidered after public encouragement, citing a desire to extend his representation of Utah with a broader platform. Meanwhile, Brent Hatch, a trial lawyer and former associate White House counsel, emphasized his non-political background in a statement through his campaign. The competition to fill Romney's Senate seat also includes other Republican candidates, such as former Utah House speaker Brad Wilson and lesser-known figures like Mayor Trent Staggs and Mayor Rod Bird Jr. Republicans hold a significant advantage in the state, outnumbering Democrats by over a 3-to-1 margin.

Honest that's the last one tonight?
