OK. I thought it was interesting how 2 religions based their Calendars on the birth of their important figures.
In a sense, it's a better method than saying "in the tenth year of the Great Plague", or "in the second year of King Whoever".
The minus years are a problem. Maybe starting 'Year Zero' further back in time would solve that.
